Testing of APW (aortic pulse wave) technologies, which are able to detect the vibrations coming from the cardiovascular system, to determine the level of attention and stress of drivers during driving thanks a particular algorithms. The device consists of an integrated seat cover with an analogue sensor / microphone that records the beat and blood pressure. This technology, developed in Japan, by Delta Kogyo R & D company is calibrated on the biorhythm of the Japanese people. The experimentation of this technology within Torino City Lab aims then to test it in a European context, analyzing the changes to be made to the algorithm and also evaluating the different possibilities field of application.
