The collaboration of the virtual school trips between Torino City Lab and Microsoft Italia had positive results. After the start of the experience at Orti Generali, from next week it will be possible to organise virtual visits, through the platform "Skype in the classroom", also to the structures of Fondazione Torino Musei (Madama Palace, Mao-Museum of Oriental Art and Gam-Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art) and the National Cinema Museum.

With a simple internet connection, students and teachers can connect by videoconference, through Teams, with an expert to learn, interact and share contents and didactic activities, living an avant-garde experience of exchange and dialogue, waiting to really come back to life and touch what they have seen on screen, as soon as it is possible.

On the dedicated web page the classes have the possibility to request and book a visit immediately.

The "pioneer schools" that tested the first 'tele-trip' to Orti Generali are the Martin Istituto Martin Luther King in Grugliasco, the Istituto Centro Storico in Moncalieri and the Istituto Sandro Pertini in Turin. By the end of the school year, 20 classes will have participated in the project.

For information on the calendar of upcoming trips to Orti Generali and museums in Turin, please consult the social channels Torino City Lab, the "school" section Torino City Love on our website and the dedicated page pagina dedicata Skype in the Classroom.
