Torino City Love, an initiative of solidarity and open innovation launched by the City of Torino and its partner Torino City Lab, supports the crowdfunding campaign "Corona Virtus" launched by the association Helpyness ONLUS.

The campaign is aimed at raising funds to purchase and donate protective visors for hospitals and healthcare workers, fundamental material in this emergency phase to adequately protect healthcare personnel and patients.

The target is set at 100 visors, which have been co-designed with hospital facilities in the USA and already used by doctors and healthcare workers. The cost set by the manufacturer (3 euros per piece) essentially covers production and shipping costs. Depending on the response of the campaign, there can be arrive to a production of 500 visors, to be shipped to Italy in the various facilities.
