As part of the digital solidarity and innovation campaign Torino City Love, TIM is starting a new experimentation that will use remote-controlled robots in some wards of the Regina Margherita Children's Hospital and Sant'Anna Hospital, as well as in the CasaOz headquarters in Corso Moncalieri.

Thanks to the use of robots, produced by Double Robotics (DOUBLE3) and connected to the TIM network, children, mothers and all other operators of the structures concerned, who are unable to receive visits due to the provisions on social distancing for Covid-19, will be able to maintain daily "human" contact with their affections at home or with some specialists working in other structures.

TIM, in addition to making these innovative connected robotic devices available, has also provided training for some hospital and CasaOz operators in the management of individual devices and will guarantee remote technical assistance for the entire duration of the trial, which will end in the autumn.

Fondazione Medicina a Misura di Donna, a partner of Torino City Lab based at Sant'Anna Hospital, acted as a facilitator for the operation.
